Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (born September 29, 1994, Edison, New Jersey) is an American singer and songwriter. As a stage name, he uses both his name in the state where he was born and raised, and Halsey, which is the anagram of his name.
He started writing songs at the age of 17. In 2014, he signed a deal with the music company Astralwerks and released his first EP, Room 93. It was released in 2015, following Room 93 on her debut album,
Badlands. She announced that she was pregnant in January 2021 and had a child named Ender Ridley Aydın on July 14 with her Turkish lover Alev Aydın.
