Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. He was born in Boca Raton, Florida. She began her career in the Broadway musical in 2008 and rose to fame as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious (2010–2013) and later on its spin-off series Sam & Cat (2013–2014).
As his interest in his music career increased, he recorded several songs for the soundtrack of Victorious TV series. Noticing the song covers he uploaded to YouTube, he signed with Republic Records in 2011. Her debut album Yours Truly was released in 2013.
The doo-wop-influenced pop and R&B style album of the 1950s debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, and his track “The Way” entered the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, giving Grande her first entry.
Grande’s second studio album, My Everything (2014), continued the pop-R&B style and used EDM elements. Like her first studio album, her second album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, and all four of her singles managed to enter the top 10 of the US charts.
These were “Problem”, “Break Free”, “Bang Bang” and “Love Me Harder”. Her third studio album, Dangerous Woman (2016), also debuted at number one and became a top chart hitter, including the UK.
